In Exercise 22, Question 9 expresses equality, so the suggested comparative transformation preserves that meaning as closely as possible. Question 4 in the superlative exercise is also awkwardly framed for conversion into a true superlative; the answer preserves the intended comparison without forcing an inaccurate construction.

Editorial notes: Exercise 14, Question 2 has a potentially confusing negative construction; the supplied answer follows the requested “unless” pattern, but the original sentence’s intended meaning may need review. Exercise 15, Question 2 uses 2024 as the assumed year two years before 2026; for evergreen publication, replace it with the relevant year or use “He has been away in the USA since [year].” Exercise 15, Question 3 is an awkward transformation because a direct request does not naturally convert into a complex sentence without changing its meaning. Exercise 16, Question 9 is also semantically awkward: “too talented” usually implies excess, not simply “very talented.”
